The site at 183 Massachusetts Avenue is the meeting point of Boston’s history. To the west side is the Renaissance architecture of the 1890’s with ornate cladding and details. To the east is post-modern concrete all stacked in modular rows. The Carillon is the transition between these two periods. The building contains 31 luxury apartments in 9 stories on a 6,000 SF footprint with retail at the ground floor.
