Banner Country Club Estates
During the 1940’s and 50’s the Connecticut River valley was the summer spot for cosmopolitan New Yorkers. Banner Lodge was the host to up and coming celebrities and presidential hopefuls. Jack Banner built one of the first 18 hole golf courses in New England in 1960. Today, the 416 acre property is undergoing a renaissance with a new clubhouse, improved greens and a new sense of community. HAAP provided a new Master Plan, designed the Clubhouse and has restored the old cabins into modern townhomes. The Banner legacy will continue into a new century with a vitality that comes from a vision becoming a successful reality.
